Macau Gaming Supplier Asia Pioneer Entertainment (8400.HK) Issues Profit Alert: H1 Net Profit Surges Nearly 90-Fold

Macao Gaming Supplier Sees Explosive Growth in First Half of 2026

In a significant development, Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Limited (APE), a leading Macao-based electronic gaming equipment (EGE) supplier, has issued a profit alert for the six months ended 30 June 2026. According to the preliminary review of the company’s unaudited consolidated management accounts, APE expects to record a turnover of approximately HKD 34.0 million for the period, representing a year-on-year increase of 47.3% compared to HKD 23.0 million for the corresponding period in 2025.

A Leap of Nearly 90-Fold in Net Profit

The profit alert also stated that the company expects its Total Comprehensive Income (after tax) for the first half of 2026 to be in the range of HKD 2.2 million to HKD 2.4 million, a substantial surge of nearly 90-fold compared to the HKD 24,959 recorded in H1 2025. This remarkable growth is attributed to the company’s core business segment of technical sales and distribution of Electronic Gaming Equipment (EGE), which grew by 56.2% in revenue for the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in the previous year.

Core EGE Distribution Business Drives Growth

The Group’s core EGE distribution business has been the driving force behind the company’s impressive growth. The sector has seen a significant increase in revenue, with a 56.2% growth in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in the previous year. This growth has been driven by the increasing demand for electronic gaming equipment in the Macao gaming industry.

Strategic Milestones Achieved

In addition to the company’s core business, APE has also achieved several strategic milestones in the first half of 2026. The company launched BEE MACAU, Macau’s first professional-grade playing card manufacturer, and rolled out its cash conversion tech solutions. While these new ventures are still in their early stages and have not yet contributed directly to the company’s revenue, they lay a solid foundation for future top-line growth.

Confident Outlook

Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Tony C.L. Chan, Chief Financial Officer of APE, said, “We delivered a very solid operational performance in the first half of 2026, underscored by robust growth in our core EGE distribution business. Alongside our financial recovery, we achieved crucial strategic milestones in H1 by launching BEE MACAU and the rollout of our cash conversion tech solutions. We are exceptionally confident in our vision to provide a seamless, ‘one-stop shop’ ecosystem.”
