With over 20 years of experience in the field of marketing, particularly in the enterprise technology sector, Nikhil Mehrotra brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His extensive background spans various marketing disciplines, including field marketing, account-based marketing, partner marketing, demand generation, channel programs, and go-to-market strategy.<\/p>\n

A Proven Track Record<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to joining Zscaler, Nikhil Mehrotra spent nearly nine years at Nutanix, where he held several leadership positions. Most notably, he served as Director, Field Marketing \u2013 India, leading marketing efforts for the India business and driving integrated campaigns to support business growth. In this role, he played a crucial part in the company’s expansion in the Indian market.<\/p>\n

Leadership Roles at Nutanix<\/strong><\/p>\n

During his tenure at Nutanix, Nikhil Mehrotra also held the position of Head of Enterprise Marketing, APJ, where he led strategic marketing initiatives across Asia Pacific and Japan. He worked closely with regional sales leaders to create pipelines, accelerate programs, and execute account-based marketing for strategic enterprise customers. Earlier, as Global Accounts Marketing Manager, he drove global account-based marketing programs across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, while strengthening joint marketing initiatives with global system integrators.<\/p>\n

Nikhil Mehrotra’s career trajectory is marked by his experience in various marketing leadership roles across multiple companies. Before joining Nutanix, he spent over five years at Dell EMC in multiple marketing leadership roles. As Channel Program Manager \u2013 Asia Pacific & Japan, he led partner marketing programs across the region and managed major partner engagement initiatives. He also served as Partner Marketing Lead \u2013 India and Manager, Field Marketing \u2013 India & SAARC, where he was responsible for field marketing, partner engagement, demand generation, and regional go-to-market execution.<\/p>\n

Early Beginnings<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nikhil Mehrotra’s journey in marketing began with his stint at Microsoft, where he served as Program Manager and Regional Marketing Manager. In these roles, he managed campaign planning, marketing budgets, localization of global campaigns, customer engagement programs, partner marketing initiatives, and regional go-to-market strategies. He also worked closely with Microsoft as a Marketing Coordinator at Webchutney Studio Pvt. Ltd., supporting marketing campaigns, events, and product launches. At Webchutney, he started his professional journey as a Client Partner.<\/p>\n
