Srinagar, August 14: As the second day of undergraduate admissions at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar came to a close, families who had traveled from across the country to secure admission for their wards expressed their gratitude towards the Institute’s arrangements. The day marked a new chapter in the academic lives of these students, and for their parents, it was an occasion filled with pride, anticipation, and a sense of relief.<\/p>\n

Dean Academic Affairs Speaks on Arrangements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. B.A. Mir, spoke about the admission process, saying that it was progressing smoothly. “Today, we have completed the admission process for around 80 candidates, taking the overall number of admissions to 169 so far. The response has been encouraging, and our teams are working to ensure that every student and parent gets proper assistance throughout the process,” he said.<\/p>\n

Prof. Mir also highlighted the efforts made by the Institute to streamline the admission procedure by bringing different facilities and services together at the campus. “Our teams are working tirelessly from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM to ensure a hassle-free experience for students and parents. We have tried to make the process as convenient as possible, with the required facilities available under one roof,” he said.<\/p>\n

Senior officials are continuously monitoring the arrangements and speaking with students, parents, and staff to ensure coordination across teams during the ongoing admission process.
