Belagavi, Karnataka – In a candid conversation with our team, Minister Satish Jarkiholi shed light on the intricacies of politics and the importance of compromise in the face of differences. Speaking to us on Saturday, he acknowledged the reported differences with Minister Laxman Savadi, but emphasized that such conflicts are common in the world of politics.<\/p>\n

Differences are Common, But Compromise is Key<\/strong><\/p>\n

“There have been differences between us in the past, but such differences are common. They exist between several legislators and Ministers. We will work with compromise,” Minister Jarkiholi said. He went on to explain that when party members are in the same camp, the high command often advises them to put aside their differences and work together. This, he believes, is essential in maintaining harmony within the party.<\/p>\n

Minister Jarkiholi also downplayed the controversy surrounding the welcome posters for Minister Savadi, which did not include his pictures. He clarified that these were not government-funded banners, but rather the initiative of the Minister’s followers. He expressed his understanding that he cannot dictate the content of such posters, and that differences in opinion are a natural part of politics.<\/p>\n

A Woman Minister to Join the Cabinet Soon<\/strong><\/p>\n

In another significant development, Minister Jarkiholi revealed that a woman will be appointed to the Cabinet after the monsoon session. He stated that the party is keen to appoint a Minister in the Cabinet, but the decision has been delayed due to some confusion. The Chief Minister will continue to hold the women and child development portfolio until then.<\/p>\n

In a strong response to the BJP leaders who have been questioning Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan’s patriotism, Minister Jarkiholi said that such remarks are unwarranted. He emphasized that Minister Khan has requested the Chief Minister not to make him the district in-charge of any district, citing his busy schedule with the BBMP elections.<\/p>\n
