Sama to Harish: No tantra, mantra, yantra can derail Congress government in TG

Congress Fires Back at Harish Rao: “Tantra, Mantra, Yantra” Won’t Derail Our Government

Hyderabad: In a scathing attack on senior BRS leader T Harish Rao, the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has alleged that he has been practicing tantric and occult rituals at various locations outside Telangana. The Congress party’s Media Committee Chairman, Sama Rammohan Reddy, made the accusations at a press conference held at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday.

Rammohan Reddy Exposes Harish Rao’s Alleged Rituals

According to Rammohan Reddy, Harish Rao conducted tantric rituals in Tiruchirappalli on March 2 and June 20, 2026, and in Shivamogga on May 31-June 1 and again on July 23, 2026. The Congress leader questioned the purpose of these alleged rituals and demanded that Harish Rao publicly clarify the allegations. “What is the purpose of these rituals?” Rammohan Reddy asked. “Against whom are they intended? We demand that Harish Rao comes clean on this issue.”

Congress Accuses BRS of Creating Instability

Rammohan Reddy alleged that the BRS leadership is unable to accept being out of power and is attempting to create instability in the state. He claimed that some opposition leaders want to incite farmers, women, and youth against the Congress government. “This is a desperate attempt to destabilize the government,” Rammohan Reddy said. “We will not let them succeed in their nefarious plans.”

Harish Rao’s Alleged Conspiracy to Harm Farmers

The Congress leader further alleged that Harish Rao is conspiring to create hardship for farmers through such practices. He accused the BRS of attempting to spread unrest in Telangana. “The BRS’s actions reflect a mindset that if they cannot remain in power, the state should not prosper,” Rammohan Reddy said.

Congress Government Unfazed by Allegations

Rejecting any suggestion that such rituals could affect the Congress government, Rammohan Reddy asserted that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is focused on the development of Telangana. “Our government enjoys the support of farmers, women, and youth,” he said. “We attribute the state’s favourable conditions to good governance.” The Congress leader expressed confidence that the government will continue to function smoothly, unaffected by the allegations against Harish Rao.

Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s Silence Deafening

Rammohan Reddy also called upon Kalvakuntla Kavitha to respond to the allegations against her party colleague. “We demand that Kalvakuntla Kavitha comes out and clarifies her party’s stance on this issue,” he said. The silence of the BRS leadership on this matter has only fueled speculation and raised questions about their intentions.

In conclusion, the TPCC’s allegations against Harish Rao have once again highlighted the bitter rivalry between the Congress and the BRS in Telangana. The Congress party is determined to expose the alleged wrongdoings of its opponents and ensure that the government remains stable and focused on development.
