RGT Public Vidyalaya Marks 17th Foundation Day with Patriotic Fervour

In a grand celebration, RGT Public Vidyalaya commemorated its 17th Foundation Day on August 1, 2026, in the school auditorium, marking a significant milestone in its journey of providing quality education and nurturing young minds. The institution, established in 2009, has come a long way in shaping the future of its students.

The celebration began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. The students extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries with bouquets and a guard of honour, reflecting the school’s values of respect and discipline. A PowerPoint presentation showcased the remarkable journey of RGT Public Vidyalaya since its inception, highlighting its achievements and milestones.
Unveiling the School Magazine
The programme featured the ceremonial release of the school magazine, Souvenir 2026, which was unveiled by the Chief Guest, Mr. Avinash Kumar Singh, Superintending Engineer, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council. This marked another significant milestone in the school’s academic and creative journey.
Appreciation and Encouragement
In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the remarkable progress of the school over the past seventeen years and congratulated the management, teachers, students, and parents for their collective efforts in achieving academic excellence and holistic development. He encouraged the students to remain disciplined, embrace innovation, and contribute positively to society.
Honouring Excellence
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Inderjeet Khurana, Chairman, School Management Committee, lauded the dedication of the teachers and the consistent support of the parents, emphasizing that their combined efforts have made the school one of the leading educational institutions in the region. The Chief Guest felicitated the outstanding students for their exemplary academic and cocurricular achievements. He further honoured the teachers by presenting mementoes in recognition of their dedicated efforts and outstanding contribution in achieving a 100% pass result in the All-India Secondary School Examination (AISSE).
Cultural Programme
The cultural programme, under the theme ‘Vanthe Mataram’, showcased the talents of the students through vibrant dance performances, skits reflecting the spirit of patriotism, unity, and the values upheld by the school. The programme was a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a sense of pride and belonging among its students.

The celebration concluded with the Vote of thanks by the Headmistress, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, members of the School Management Committee, parents, well-wishers, staff members, and students for making the event a memorable success. The programme ended with the National Anthem, symbolizing the school’s commitment to the nation and its people.
