Shootout in Rohini: Delhi Police Nab Two Tillu Gang Members

The suspects, who hail from Ghaziabad and Delhi respectively, were shot in the legs during the retaliatory firing by the police. Thankfully, no police personnel were injured in the exchange of fire.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Shashank Jaiswal, the accused were wanted in connection with the murder of Harish Mathur, a member of the Gogi and Dinesh Karala gangs. Mathur was shot dead in the Karala area on July 30, sparking a massive manhunt for the perpetrators.

Mathur’s murder was allegedly orchestrated by the Tillu gang due to his association with the rival Gogi gang. The police had registered a case at the Kanjhawala police station following the incident. During the operation, the police recovered two illegal pistols, six live cartridges, six empty cartridge cases, and a motorcycle allegedly used in the crime. The motorcycle, which belonged to one of the accused, was used during the commission of the crime.
